Fancy Schmancy Day

Students earned this day as a whole class positive behavior reward. They earned the reward by filling in states on a U.S.A puzzle. Once the puzzle was complete, they voted on a reward. Fancy Schmancy day was pretty much a unanimous vote! The students dressed up “fancy”- some chose to wear dresses or nice shirts with neckties, while others chose their fanciest football jersey, dress-up dress, or favorite outfit. The choice was theirs. At the end of the day, the class enjoyed fancy snacks (cheese cubes and grapes on toothpicks and a fancy fudge-striped cookie) and fancy classical music.
