Representative Bruce Hunter Visits 4th Graders

The 4th graders at South Union had a guest speaker come talk to them about state government.  State Representative Bruce Hunter from district 34, the district that includes the South Union population, came to share about his career and duties as a representative.  The students were very inquisitive about how an idea from a person turns into a law.  The students also learned that Mr. Hunter cannot leave the capital until he and his peers get the state budget finalized.  During this week the students will write Mr. Hunter and tell him some ideas for some new laws.
