I’ve been working with children of all ages in many different settings for the last 20 years. For the last 3 years I’ve enjoyed working in the self contained room here at South Union, I love my job and the people I work with!  I also love spending time with my 3 beautiful children and adorable grandson.

Hello All! This is my 7th year as a special education teacher at South Union! I grew up in Toledo, Iowa and attended Simpson College. When I am not at school I’m either teaching dance classes or watching Netflix on my couch. I love watching our children grow and can’t wait to continue my journey at SU!

Hello South Union families! This is my second year teaching special education at South Union. I am originally from Atkins, Iowa. I graduated from Central College in 2019 with a major in Elementary Education and endorsements in reading and special education. When I am not at school, you can find me at the dance studio, curled up with a good book, spending time with family and friends, or watching Netflix. I also enjoy traveling and exploring the Des Moines area! I am looking forward to another great year at South Union Elementary!
